Mythical Tree

Ahhh found an old piece this morning that I had written, brought up some memories, so here goes...

This can't be happening
not all over again
Have to stop pretending
that I can face it again
It's all just a mirage
a trick of the mind
The truth's its all gone
the caravan moved on
But the search is still on
for that mythical tree.
